Comcast Media Center announced a joint marketing agreement with enableTV, a provider of interactive TV solutions and services, to support the development and delivery of ITV applications through CMC's HITS AxIS service.
"We are pleased to partner with the CMC to expedite the delivery of interactive services to the industry through the HITS AxIS service by providing developer solutions and testing services in our independent test lab," enableTV president and CEO Tim Wahlers said in a statement.
Based in Boulder, Colo., enableTV was formed last year when Wahlers acquired products, intellectual property and services contracts from Vidiom Systems along with the Boulder-based cable operations of Solekai Systems.
More than 20 companies have signed on with HITS AxIS, and four cable MSOs have signed on to beta-test interactive TV applications hosted by the service.
