Comcast Corp. has rolled out HBO On Demand and Cinemax On Demand to its video-on-demand subscribers in New England, Baltimore, Detroit, Philadelphia and Washington, D.C.
The MSO kicked off the launch with a party in Philadelphia Wednesday featuring Cynthia Nixon from Sex and the City
; Lorraine Bracco, Dominic Chianese and Steven Schirripa from The Sopranos
; and Michael C. Hall from Six Feet Under
.
Home Box Office and Cinemax subscribers will be able to receive the on-demand service at no extra charge.
