Comedy Central Greenlights ‘The Nick Kroll Show'
Comedy Central has picked up two new series, The Nick Kroll Show and an untitled Keegan-Michael Key and Jordan Peele.
The Nick Kroll Show is a sketch comedy series, starring Kroll and his many different characters. Kroll can be seen on FX's The League and Adult Swim's Children's Hospital. Kroll will executive produce and write, along with John Levenstein (Arrested Development) and Jonathan Krisel (Saturday Night Live, Portlandia), who will also direct.
The untitled Key (Just Go With It,Gary Unmarried) and Peele (Little Fockers) project will also be a sketch comedy show starring the two MADtv alums. The series will feature both Key and Peele performing sketches in front of a live studio audience.
Both series are slated to premiere in 2012.
