Comedy Central’s ‘Inside Amy Schumer’ Draws 1.6 Million Viewers
Comedy Central’s Tuesday night premiere of sketch/stand-up series Inside Amy Schumer drew 1.6 million viewers, according to network officials.
The series, in which comedian Schumer explores sex and relationship topics through a series of scripted vignettes, stand-up comedy, and man-on-the-street interviews, also drew 1.2 million adult 18-49 viewers in its April 30 premiere, and had a strong showing among men 18-34. The series had the best premiere among Comedy Central’s new 2013 series across all key demographics, said network officials.
In addition the series premiere episode has been streamed nearly 250,000 times since it was made available via cc.com, CC On Demand and Hulu in the run-up to last night’s linear premiere, according to network officials.
