CommScope Inc. said Monday that it has completed its acquisition of Avaya Inc.'s local-area-network-cabling division, Avaya Connectivity Solutions.
The deal, first announced in November, essentially doubled the size of CommScope by adding ACS, which builds cabling and equipment for telephone central offices, connecting PCs, work stations, phones, LANs and other communication devices.
