CommScope Sets Sights on Signal Vision

Communications-network-infrastructure provider CommScope is moving to acquire assets of Signal Vision, a supplier of broadband radio-frequency subscriber products.
The transaction is expected to close in the second quarter.
Signal Vision had revenues of less than $30 million in 2006.
“The addition of the Signal Vision line provides CommScope with a more integrated suite of products for the last mile in broadband networks,” executive vice president of broadband sales and marketing Jim Hughes said. “We believe there is significant potential to expand the reach of Signal Vision's products through CommScope's worldwide channels.”
