Court TV Sets Fall Docket
Courtroom Television Network has three made-for-TV movies in development and
two new reality series set for the fall -- projects it will announce this coming
week at the Television Critics Association tour.
The new programs include Fake Out,a reality game show set to
debut Oct. 1, and Mind Games,in which each episode will explore
one specific theory of human behavior. On Oct. 26, a pilot for the series
Impossible Heists will air.
Court TV’s true-story telepics are: The Christy Adair Story, where
Jane Seymour co-produces and stars in a tale of a juror pressured to wrongfully
convict a man; The Perfect Witness: The Debbie Smith Story,with
Ally Sheedy as a police officer’s wife who becomes the victim of a sexual
assault, then crusades for the acceleration of DNA testing; and Executing the
Innocent: The Gary Graham Story, about the seven-year battle by two Texas
attorneys to win freedom for a death-row inmate.
