Cox Communications Inc.’s purchase of some 35,000 basic-cable subscribers in Arizona from Cable America Corp. is a done deal.
Financial details of the transaction were not disclosed.
Cox said the systems are contiguous to its Arizona cable operations, which now serve more than 2 million subscribers in 42 communities in Phoenix and the southern part of the state.
The former Cable America systems are located in Mesa, Florence, Wickenburg, Queen Creek, Coolidge and Gila Bend, as well as Maricopa and Pinal counties.
