Cox Gets Wise on Customer Care; Promotes Yates
Cox Communications senior vice president of customer care Jill Campbell announced the appointment of Scott Wise to VP of customer care.
Wise will now be responsible for heading up the MSO’s customer care organization. He had been VP of resource planning for EarthLink, where he was in charge of operational functions of the Internet-service provider’s customer service operation.
Cox executive director of network services Larry Dexter also announced the promotion of Scott Yates to director of network assets.
Yates will now be responsible for asset procurement and negotiating vendor contracts.
Prior to working with Cox, Yates served as a Captain in the U.S. Army, where he was responsible for overseeing network operations for more than 200 computer systems.
