Cox Rebrands Ad Unit
In a move to bank on its brand, Cox Communications Inc. is renaming its
advertising-sales division.
CableRep Advertising will become Cox Media, the company announced Monday. The
change was made to align the division more closely with the Cox brand and to
represent the range of media services it offers.
"As our company gains more prominence on the national stage, the rebranding
of CableRep Advertising to Cox Media provides us with a clear and powerful
identity more closely aligned with the qualities we share with the rest of the
Cox family of companies," division vice president Billy Farina said.
Cox Media provides the advertising services for Cox TV markets, along with
market research for advertising clients.
