The Cable Television Public Affairs Association said Wednesday that is has formed the CTPAA Public Affairs Institute.
The three-day, intensive, graduate-level program “will educate members on strategic management, communication and public-policy issues facing the cable industry,” the association said in a prepared statement.
The program was designed in close consultation with George Washington University's Graduate School of Political Management. It will be held in Washington, D.C., Dec. 6-8.
“This unique program brings higher-level learning to our members in areas that are specifically dedicated to the jobs and tasks their companies ask them to accomplish,” CTPAA executive director Steve Jones said in a prepared statement.
