Cunningham Is New CAB CEO

published Sean Cunningham, Universal McCann's executive vice president and managing
director since 2000, was named Thursday as the Cabletelevision Advertising
Bureau's new CEO, succeeding Joseph Ostrow, who will become a CAB
consultant.
Cunningham, 42, will start in mid-June as the CAB's fourth CEO since its
formation in 1981.
Cunningham, who began his agency career in 1985 as an assistant planner at
Benton & Bowles, later was an executive with Lowe Lintas and its predecessor
agency, Ammirati Puris Lintas.
