Current TV Launches Website For 'Bar Karma' Series
Current TV Wednesday announced the launch of a website to support the February premiere of its new interactive series Bar Karma.
Viewers logging on can participate in the creative and technical aspects of the show, which highlights a mystical watering hole at the edge of the universe, according to Current officials.
Bar Karma, co-created by former Nickelodeon and Spike TV executive Albie Hecht and Sims video game developer
Will Wright, allows viewers to influence and alter the show's episodes by pitching their own storyline concepts and storyboards and voting on the one's they like best. Once a final storyboard is selected by the viewers, the show's producers will shoot, produce and edit the winning storyline into a 30-minute episode.
The shows development can be followed through Facebook and Twitter, and your mobile device, said network officials.
