Danamarie McNicholl Joins Fox News as Miami Correspondent
Former Miss Washington comes from KFMB San Diego
Danamarie McNicholl has joined Fox News Channel as a correspondent based in Miami. She comes from KFMB San Diego, where she was a reporter. McNicholl begins at Fox November 6.
She spent two years at KFMB, where she covered, among other stories, the F-18 military jet crash near Marine Corps Air Station Miramar.
McNicholl previously was a reporter and anchor at KREM Spokane, where she spent four years, starting as a general assignment reporter before becoming morning anchor. She got her start as a newsroom intern at XETV San Diego.
A cum laude graduate of Gonzaga University, McNicholl holds a bachelor of arts degree in broadcast and electronic journalism. She is finishing her master’s degree in criminal justice and cybersecurity at Boston University.
McNicholl was named Miss Washington in 2018.
