DAZN, Golden Boy to Launch Monthly Boxing Series

Sports streaming service DAZN has partnered with boxing promotion company Golden Boy to develop a series of monthly boxing cards to air on linear regional sports networks, the companies announced Wednesday.

As part of the deal, the three-hour streaming series will feature a live block of boxing matches, followed by a one-hour studio show, according to network officials.

The series launches March 21 and will air on regional sports networks around the country, although DAZN did not reveal specifics.

“This Golden Boy DAZN series reinforces our commitment to making fighting entertainment more accessible and affordable to the masses,” said Oscar De La Hoya, chairman and CEO of Golden Boy in a statement. “We’re proud to deliver boxing fans great live fights along with the new Ring Report, a weekly studio show covering the world of boxing with an innovative social media twist and content from top boxing bloggers in the business.”
