Kathleen S. M. Shepherd, a producer and director of public affairs at WPIX-TV New York, died of cancer March 24. She was 50. "She represented everything positive about the possibilities of effecting positive change in our lives and communities," said WPIX VP and GM Betty Ellen Berlamino. "She devoted her life to helping others."
