In Demand cut a deal with Anime Network to supply it with some
high-definition anime shows for the linear HD nets In Demand plans to launch
this fall.
Anime president Kevin Corcoran said Anime could still cut a deal with In
Demand rival HDNet.
Anime launched on Cablevision Systems Corp. systems Monday as a
subscription-video-on-demand service.
It has also been available on RCN Corp.’s 'Impulse On Demand' service
free-of-charge since June 1.
