Charles F. Newby joined Digeo Inc. as vice president of engineering.
Newby had been a consultant to the cable and satellite industries, including work on several major OpenCable Application Platform-related projects.
At the media-center-platform vendor, he will be responsible for engineering operations including development and delivery of hardware reference designs, audio-video chip sets, software platforms and applications, as well as integration of Digeo's user interface.
