LITTLETON, COLO.-Disputing published reports last week, a spokesman for EchoStar Communications Corp. denied last Friday that its Dish Network service plans to launch the Gay Television Network.
Palm Springs, Calif.-based Co-Media Inc. issued a press release last week which said it would launch the new network exclusively on Dish on Feb. 2. On the wearegaytv.com Web site, the programmer pitched the service for $19.95 a month, along with a free satellite system.
