Dish Network is now offering TeleAmazonas, a 24-hour Ecuadorian sports and entertainment network, on its DishLATINO pay-TV service.
TeleAmazonas offers more than 50 percent of “Series A” Ecuadorian National Soccer League teams—including Barcelona, Universidad Católica, Liga Universitaria de Quito, Deportivo Espoli, Deportivo Azogues, Olmedo and Club Técnico Universitario.
The channel also offers popular news programs such as 24 Horas and Hora 7, and variety programming such as La Plena and La Noche Con Pimental. TeleAmazonas will be available in the DishLATINO basic programming package and higher.
“We are thrilled to provide TeleAmazonas to our DishLATINO customers, giving them access to some of the best Ecuadorian programming—including the most popular soccer matches,” Eric Sahl, Dish Networks’ senior vice president of programming, said in a statement. “Nowhere else will consumers find the high-quality Ecuadorian programming content TeleAmazonas offers.”
TeleAmazonas is available on DISH Network channel 842.
