Disney Channel will begin production Friday in Los Angeles on a new series,
That's So Raven.
Starring Raven Symone (The Cosby Show, Dr. Doolittle 2and
Hangin' with Mr. Cooper), the series will be shot in front of a live studio
audience.
Disney Channel has ordered 21 episodes of the skein, which is slated to bow
in the fall of 2002.
The series -- produced by Brookwell McNamara Entertainment in association
with Disney Channel -- will showcase Symone as an eccentric teen-ager who has
the ability to foresee flashes of the future, an attribute that often throws her
family and friends for a loop as she miscalculates events.
