Disney Junior has promoted Emily Hart to Vice President, Original Programming.
Hart will transition to the new role from her current position as Executive Director, Original Programming, Disney Junior. As Vice President, Original Programming, Hart will be responsible for overseeing the production and development of Disney Junior’s various television properties.
“Emily is not only one of the hardest working executives in children’s television, but also one of the most forward thinking and passionate. Her storytelling skills along with her capacity to envision what might come next make her an invaluable part of our team. Her leadership on some of our most successful series including Mickey Mouse Clubhouse an Jake the Never Land Pirates has contributed greatly to the success we are seeing across Disney Junior,” said Nancy Kanter, Executive Vice President, Original Programming and General Manager, Disney Junior Worldwide, in a statement.
Hart now reports to Kanter.
