Disney’s ‘Elena Of Avalor’ Delivers Royal Ratings
The July 22 premiere simulcast of Disney Junior’s animated series Elena Of Avalor drew 4.2 million viewers in Nielsen live + 3 ratings, according to Disney.
The premiere, which aired on both Disney Channel and Disney Junior, also drew 2.2 million viewers in the key Kids 2-11 demo and 1.1 million among adults 18-49, according to Nielsen.
On the social media front to date, programming from Elena of Avalor, which introduced a princess inspired by diverse Latin cultures and folklore, has delivered more than 6.5 million viewer engagements on the Disney Channel app and Disney Junior app and another 686,000 engagements on Disney Channel Set-top Box Video-on-Demand since its launch, said the network.
