Disney’s `Music Awards’ Draws 3.2 Million Viewers
Disney Channel’s Radio Disney Music Awards telecast struck a chord with viewers, drawing 3.2 million viewers, the network announced Tuesday.
The event, which Disney Channel aired for the first time, was the most watched primetime telecast in April across several major kids-targeted demographics – kids 2-11, Kids 6-11, Kids 6-14 Tweens 9-14 and Teens 12-17, said network officials.
The telecast featured musical performances by Austin Mahone, Becky G, Zendaya, R5, Fifth Harmony, Ariana Grande and Zendaya (pictured.)
