The premiere of Disney Channel’s newest original series, The Replacements, claimed the network’s most-watched original-animated-series premiere on record for kids aged 6-11 (2.06 million) and 9-14 (1.53 million).
It was one of the network’s most-watched in total viewers at 3.6 million, second only to the Oct. 12, 2003, airing of Lilo & Stitch: The Series.
Disney was also home to Friday’s top five most-watched basic-cable programs in total viewers.
