Disney’s ‘Freaky Friday’ Movie Draws 7.2 Million Viewers Across Weekend Airings
Disney Channel’s latest original movie, Freaky Friday, drew 7.2 million viewers across seven airings over the past weekend, said network officials.
The movie, which stars Cozi Zuehlsdorff (Dolphin Tale) and Heidi Blickenstaff (The Little Mermaid and the stage production of Freaky Friday), debuted on Aug. 10 with 1.5 million viewers, including a summer-best 999,000 viewers kids 6-11 and 782,000 tween 9-14 viewers, according to the network.
Freaky Friday was executive produced by Steve Carr, Susan Cartsonis (Deidra & Laney Rob a Train) and Thomas Schumacher, president and producer, Disney Theatrical Productions.
