Dianne Doctor was named news director at WNBC-TV New York following Paula Madison's appointment as general manager at KNBC-TV Los Angeles. Doctor has been with the station since 1991, as a producer and executive producer, and had been named assistant news director just last month. She'll be replaced as assistant news director by Executive Producer Joel Goldberg.
