Doggy Ado
By Staff
published The dogs were out in New York’s Penn Station and Grand Central Terminal last week, promoting USA Network’s coverage of the Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show from Madison Square Garden.
While their tenders handed out dog-tracking scorecards, the dogs themselves — who weren’t competitors, but merely pups rounded up to perform — acted naturally, even in USA and Westminster branded jackets.
“They were jumping all over everybody,” one witness reported.
All except one: an 11-year-old chocolate Lab, who slept peacefully.
Another witness, who attended the show last week, said the publicity seemed to be working. The show seemed much more crowded than a few years ago.
