Convergys promoted David F. Dougherty to president and CEO and announced that James F. Orr would remain chairman through Dec. 31.
Dougherty was named president and chief operating officer of the provider of customer-care, human-resources and billing services in September 2005.
Orr announced his retirement as CEO Feb. 20.
