Rob Magdlen was promoted to vice president, program planning and acquisitions at E! Networks.
Magdlen had been executive director.
In his new role, he will continue overseeing all scheduling for E! Entertainment Television domestically, as well as video-on-demand and satellite radio via the network’s channels on both XM Satellite Radio and Sirius Satellite Radio.
Magdlen will also identify acquisition opportunities of existing programs and theatrical films.
