E! has extended its contractual agreement with producer/TV personality Ryan Seacrest to remain as host and executive producer of the network’s Live From The Red Carpet series, said network executives.
Seacrest has served as the face of the show since 2006. Most recently E!’s 2015 Emmy Awards edition of Live From The Red Carpet delivered 1.1 million total viewers, up 7% over the 2014 installment.
“With Ryan at the helm for close to ten years now, E!'s Live From the Red Carpet series has truly become a mainstay of the network and we are very happy to continue this partnership,” said Frances Berwick, President Lifestyle Networks, NBCUniversal Cable Entertainment. "Ryan's close relationships with many of the celebrities on these carpets combined with his command over all things entertainment and pop culture, makes for interviews that are surprising, compelling and always entertaining - and our viewers love his spontaneous moments on the carpet!"
