EarthLink Inc. has launched “EarthLink Free Online Calling,” which allows its broadband subscribers to make free voice-over-Internet-protocol telephone calls.
The Internet-service provider said the service allows for unlimited phone calls to other Session Initiation Protocol users, voice-mail access, online calling log and online signup and management.
EarthLink said it is using software from Xten Networks Inc. to offer the service. EarthLink Free Online Calling is available to the ISP’s 1.2 million broadband subscribers.
