EchoStar Communications Corp.’s Dish Network Thursday began offering local channels via satellite in Green Bay, Wis., and the surrounding area, as well as Lincoln, Hastings and Kearney, Neb.
The Green Bay area encompasses 15 counties: Menominee, Brown, Calumet, Door, Fond Du Lac, Green Lake, Kewaunee, Manitowoc, Marinette, Oconto, Outagamie, Shawano, Waupaca, Waushara and Winnebago.
The addition of the two regions boosts EchoStar’s list of markets where it offers local-channel service to 110.
Green Bay-area Dish customers can now receive ABC channel 2 (WBAY), CBS channel 5 (WFRV), Fox channel 11 (WLUK), NBC channel 26 (WGBA), PBS channel 38 (WPNE), UPN channel 32 (WACY) and The WB Television Network channel 14 (WIWB).
The Nebraska Dish customers can now receive ABC channel 8 (KLKN), CBS channel 10 (KOLN), NBC channel 5 (KHAS) and PBS channel 15 (KUON).
