ESPN 3D On The Scene With UCLA-Oregon On Oct. 21
ESPN 3D will hit the West Coast for the first time with its Oct. 21 telecast of UCLA visiting No. 2 Oregon.
Kickoff is set for 9 p.m. (ET) in what will be the rookie network's initial Thursday night telecast.
This Saturday ESPN 3D will feature two of the top teams in the nation when it televises No. 1 Ohio State at No. 18 Wisconsin, starting at 7 p.m. This marks the fourth 3D appearance for Ohio State. The Buckeye's were first featured in 3D last year on Sept. 9 and will have had three appearances on the new network in 2010.
ESPN 3D will feature approximately 13 college football games this year, including the 2011 BCS National Championship game on Jan. 10. in Glendale, Ariz.
Sony is the official sponsor of college football on ESPN 3D, with college football games televised on ESPN 3D shot by the electronics giant's professional cameras.
