ESPN Sets Coverage For Pacquiao-Algieri PPV Fight

ESPN will offer extensive pre and post-fight coverage of Saturday’s Manny Pacquiao-Chris Algieri pay-per-view boxing event.

The sports network will offering multi-language coverage of the fight beginning with interviews with both fighters on Nov. 20 during its primetime SportsCenter telecast as well as live coverage of the Nov. 21 weigh in for the fighters.

ESPN Deportes will also provide live Spanish-language coverage of the weigh-in. In addition, the network will offer a special pre-fight and post-fight show hosted by Jorge Eduardo Sanchez at 8 p.m. and 2 a.m. respectively, said the network.

ESPN3 will provide coverage of the final fighter press conference on Nov. 19 as well as the Nov. 21 weigh-in. ESPN3 will also carry the Pacquiao-Algeri Red Carpet Non-Televised Bouts Show the night of the fight.

ESPN.com will offer video and blogs from sports journalists Dan Rafael, Brian Campbell, Nigel Collins, Bernardo Pilatti, Kieran Mulvaney, and Brett Forrest.

Also, the site’s Fight Credential dedicated Pacquiao-Algieri home page will be continuously updated with features, video, photos and social media from all platforms leading up to the fight. ESPN.com’s original boxing show Making The Rounds will also offer a preview of the fight, said ESPN.

HBO will distribute the fight via PPV Nov. 22 beginning at 9 p.m.
