Former Arris Group Inc. chairman and CEO John M. Egan is going from broadband to board band.
The retired Egan was named a trustee of the U.S. Ski and Snowboard Team Foundation, vice president Trisha Worthington announced Friday.
"We are extremely excited to add John to our list of trustees. His proficiency in the communications industry will be a priceless resource for us," she said in a release.
Egan retired from Arris in 2001.
