Ex-AT&T Broadband Exec Wood Dies at 43
Memorial services will be held Wednesday at Cherry Hills Community Church in Highlands Ranch, Colo., for former Tele-Communications Inc. and AT&T Broadband executive James R. Wood, who died last week at age 43.
Viewing begins at 2 p.m., followed by services at 3 p.m.
Wood, who was active on Cable Television Laboratories Inc. technical teams, was vice president of digital technology at TCI and VP of advanced technologies at AT&T Broadband.
Most recently, he had partnered with his wife, Lisa Lee, in a consulting firm called Broadband Insights.
Friends recalled him as generous and caring and said his catch phrase, when asked how he was doing, was, "Livin’ the dream."
Contributions for the benefit of Wood’s three daughters can be sent to the Jim Wood Memorial Fund, c/o Ellis Family Services, P.O. Box 270334, Littleton, Colo., 80127.
