Digital media management and distribution company Yangaroo said Emilienne Gray, the former SVP, music and talent programming and strategy at MTV and VH1, has joined as a special consultant and broadcast advisor.
In that role, Gray is tasked with establishing relationships with new broadcasters in North America and Europe, and expanding Yangaroo’s relationships with current broadcasters, record labels, and artists.
Gray, who left Viacom last fall, is also the founder and president of VISION-INTELLECT LLC, a boutique media and entertainment consulting and coaching firm.
“We worked very closely with Emilienne and her team at MTV Networks in New York,” said Cliff Hunt, vice chairman and COO of Yangaroo, in a statement. “Through her belief and commitment, our service is embedded in the MTVN internal workflows and the Yangaroo music video service has become the industry standard in North America.”
