Ex-Storer CEO Bagwell Dies

published Kenneth L. Bagwell, 77, former president and CEO of cable operator Storer Communications, died March 30 at Mount Sinai Medical Center in Miami Beach, Fla., according to a death notice published in the April 2 Miami Herald.
Bagwell’s tenure at Storer lasted from 1961 until his retirement in 1988, after Storer was sold to Tele-Communications Inc.
He served as a chairman of the CBS Television Affiliates Advisory Board and was a founding board member of C-SPAN. He was also a member of the Television Bureau of Advertising and the Broadcast Advisory Board of United Press International.
