Extreme Sports Slated for MavTV

Beginning this month, 24-hour men-oriented network MavTV will air extreme-sports programming from Red Bull International.

Programming includes Crashed Ice, a combination of hockey, downhill skating and boardercross; Fuel & Fury, featuring snowmobiles, stunts and 80-foot jumps; and Heavy Metal, which spotlights urban snowboarding.

The programs will premiere Friday, Sept. 22 in primetime and run as encores Monday nights.

MavTV -- airing “irreverent, original content” in the realms of sports, gaming, gadgets, comedy and women -- has now signed 16 distribution deals in 55 markets.
