FearNet Hires Three Cable Marketing, Sales Execs
Horror-themed cable network FearNet Tuesday added three veteran cable sales and marketing veterans to its executive ranks.
The Comcast Cable, Sony Pictures Television and Lionsgate-owned FearNet named former Ovation COO and executive vice president Ron Garfield as its chief revenue officer, in charge of overseeing all of FearNet distribution and advertising sales duties, according to network officials. Garfield will also serve as Senior Vice President of Affiliate Sales for Sony Movie Channel.
Former GSN vice president of distribution Michael Severino was named FearNet vice president of affiliate sales, while NFL Network marketing and promotions consultant Kiesha McCorry will serve as the network's affiliate marketing director.
All three will be responsible for distribution of the linear FearNet cable channel, FearNet HD, FearNet On Demand, and FearNet's TV Everywhere initiatives.
"We couldn't have found better additions for our team than Ron, Mike and Kiesha," said Peter Block, FearNet president and general manager in a statement. "Our new team is hard at work, and it's going to be a fantastic 2011 for FearNet."
