Fine Living, TCM Extend Brands
Scripps Networks' Fine Living announced "Fine Living Holiday Selects," a
branding extension that consists of 90 categories of gift-giving products.
President Ken Solomon explained that the network's holiday gift suggestions, compiled by category by its editors, 'is a natural extension for our network programming, removing much of the stress of the holiday-shopping process.'
Holiday Selects will be promoted on the network via hourly 25-second spots and one-minute 'Fine Living Holiday Essentials' product suggestions as of Nov. 29.
The gift suggestions -- showcased, for instance, as 'Office Gifts Under $20' and 'Books with a View' -- will also be available for order online (www.fineliving.com) .
The gift tips will be broken out by hobbies and interests.
Meanwhile, Turner Classic Movies has developed the 'TCM Archives Program' as a way to build strategic alliances and promotional opportunities that will expand its brand into online and various retail stores.
In January, Pottery Barn will introduce 'The Hollywood Collection' of plates, serving trays, coasters and napkins featuring vintage movie posters for such titles as Casablanca and King Kong.
