Westwood, Mass., granted a cable franchise to Verizon Communications, the telco said Tuesday.
Verizon said it plans to provide FiOS TV service, over its fiber-to-the-home network, to about 4,200 households in the town.
The company said FiOS TV is now available -- or will soon be available -- in 39 Massachusetts communities. Verizon offers FiOS TV to more than 200,000 households in the state.
