Fitzpatrick Jumps to SportsNet

Veteran Comcast communications executive Tim Fitzpatrick joined sister company Comcast SportsNet as vice president of communications.

Fitzpatrick, who had worked as director of communications at Comcast’s Philadelphia headquarters for the last six years, will be responsible for all aspects of communications for Comcast’s family of regional sports nets, the company said.

Before joining Comcast, Fitzpatrick served as press secretary for the 2000 Republican National Convention in Philadephia, and held other communications pots in Washington, D.C.
