The Outdoor Channel’s "Win Your Own Fishing Show Contest" is down to five finalists, the network said Friday.
The five finalists’ auditions will be posted on the network’s Web site (www.outdoorchannel.com) for public vote.
The winner's show, to be announced Feb. 13, will air late this summer.
The finalists are: Craig Condello, a pharmaceutical manager from Lincoln, Neb.; Laurie Ferguson, a fifth-grade teacher from Keyser, W. Va.; Andy Halbrook, president of the Ruston, La., Chamber of Commerce; Jim Lytle, a semi-retired commercial real estate broker from Orlando, Fla.; and Gary Wert, an auto-dealership-group executive from Warren, Pa.
