Fox News Hires Keenan
Fox News Channel said Wednesday that it recruited Terry Keenan from
competitor Cable News Network.
Keenan, who also once worked for CNBC, will host a new Saturday-morning
program on FNC called Cashin' In.
The show, which will premiere May 19, will contain practical financial
content such as managing a 401K plan, purchasing real estate and saving for
children's college tuition, FNC said.
Keenan's move was the latest in a recent news-network talent shuffle.
CNN said Wednesday that former ABC News law correspondent Tim O'Brien will
join its CNN Business News and CNNfn staff. The network added that Rhonda
Schaffler will replace Keenan as the anchor of Moneyline Weekend.
Also Wednesday, ABC News named former NBC News and CNN correspondent Claire
Shipman a senior national correspondent for Good Morning America and
other programs.
And last week, CNN Headline News hired former NYPD Blue star Andrea
Thompson as an anchor. She joins the network after a short reporting stint at
KRQE-TV in Albuquerque, N.M.
