Free Fantasy Baseball from ESPN.com
ESPN.com (espn.go.com) will offer ESPN Fantasy Baseball free-of-charge for the 2007 Major League Baseball season.
The game allows fantasy fans to play by standard ESPN rules and scoring or take control with a League Manager-style game, in which they customize their own rules, rosters and scoring options. ESPN’s tools and functionality include live scoring and multiple draft options, including a live draft lobby and a mock-draft lobby.
“We’ve seen enormous success in the past two seasons, enhancing the quality of our games and expanding our fantasy-sports audience,” ESPN New Media senior vice president and general manager John Kosner said in a prepared statement. “Launching an improved and free Fantasy Baseball allows us to serve players -- whether avid fantasy veterans or energetic newcomers-- and helps us build on recent success.”
