Fuel TV, Fox Cable To 'Roadblock' James Stewart Docuseries March 28

For those who don't know motocross racer James Stewart, a quintet of five Fox Cable Networks properties are going to give viewers a chance to meet him later this month.
Action sports service Fuel TV will be joined March 28 by Speed, Fox College Sports, Fox Reality Channel and Fox Sports Net regional sports networks in setting up a "road block" for the premiere episode of Bubba's World, a docuseries chronicling the African-American, who is the top racer in what is a predominantly white sport.
The simulcast at 10 p.m. that night, which is expected to reach some 85 million homes, will go behind the scenes with Stewart, who after winning all 24 races on the circuit in 2008 and winning Supercross championship last year, is now taking a season off.
Geico is the presenting sponsor and has billboards and commercials across all networks for the premiere.
Set against a backdrop of southern locales, sexy girls, wild parties, pro friends, and plenty of family drama, Bubba'sWorld finds Stewart doing his best to rediscover his lost youth, make his own rules and satisfy some unattained dreams. That won't be easy given his family and handlers who want to keep their "product" safe and out of harm's way.
Following the simulcast debut, Fuel will premiere the remaining nine installments of the show at 9 p.m. on Sundays. The episodes will encore Bubba's World several times throughout the week and will also be available for download from iTunes and can be watches on www.fuel.tv and www.hulu.com.
"This new series will take Fuel TV's viewers to a whole new world, the one of a motocross superstar," said Shon Tomlin, FuelTV senior vice president of programming and marketing, and the series' executive producer. "James is arguably the biggest star in the action sports world and it's an incredible opportunity for Fuel TV viewers to get this rare and unfiltered view into his world."
Fuel TV officials declined to comment about reports that the network may be sold to Viacom.
