Fuse's next telecast of a live rock performance will be a Red Hot Chili Peppers show on Aug. 30, eight days after the band performs in a private show at the the Roxy Theatre in Los Angeles.
Fuse said the fan-filled concert will feature the band playing its top hits, along with songs from their upcoming album, "I'm With You." Fuse and Coke Zero have collaborated to present the concert with limited commercial interruption.
With the new record set to drop on Aug. 30, Fuse also has scheduled 24 hours of Red Hot Chili Peppers programming. The takeover will include a sit-down interview with the band titled Red Hot Chili Peppers: On The Record with Fuse, at 8:30 p.m. ET, hosted by Touré. Fuse Presents: Red Hot Chili Peppers Live from the Roxy follows at 9 p.m. ET.
The Red Hot Chili Peppers, comprised of singer Anthony Kiedis (pictured), bassist Flea, drummer Chad Smith, and guitarist Josh Klinghoffer, are among the most successful acts in rock history. They have sold more than 60 million albums and won six Grammy Awards, including "Best Rock Album" for "Stadium Arcadium." The band holds the record for the most No. 1 singles of all-time at Alternative radio, a total of 11, and a combined 81 weeks at No. 1.
Past Fuse concerts have included John Mayer, Kanye West, Maroon 5, Fallout Boy and Leon Russell and Elton John performances.
