The bow of FX Iraq war series Over There ignited with viewers, ranking within basic cable’s top 10 for an original-series premiere.
Over There garnered a 3.2 household rating during its 10 p.m.-11 p.m. debut period July 27, according to Nielsen Media Research data, pulling in some 4.1 million total viewers.
That gave the Steven Bocho and Chris Gerolmo show a share of the eighth spot among the most-viewed original-cable-series beginnings, along with the network’s Rescue Me and E! Entertainment Television’s TheAnna NicoleShow, according to FX officials.
